I have hardwood floors…I just pulled the carpet off of them and found several dog urine stains. I have no illusions about re-finishing these floors – im sure they are probably ruined. BUT I would like to get them as clean as possible before putting carpet BACK on top of them. Is there anything I can do to reduce the urine smell of the hardwood?

I have a new house and after pulling up carpet realize that there are several pet urine stains ingrained in the wood floor. They stink and I do not want to simply throw another layer of carpet on top. Is there anything I can do about this?

I got a dead raccoon stuck in the trunk of my car and he bled all over it. He is out now but the carpet that lines the trunk is stained with blood. I heard you could use mayonnaise.
