The best time to get blood off clothes is before it is dry. It’s a lot harder then, but you can still get it off. Cold water is the trick to getting it off. The best thing to do is probably soak it in a bucket with a cap of washing powder in enough warm water to dissolve it, and then fill up the rest with cold water. Let it soak and hopefully that should get the blood out.

I think you’ve got a bigger problem than getting your clothes clean.

Peroxide. It works great! All the Doctors and Nurses use it.

my secret is shower cleaner! something like scrubby bubbles always does the trick and I have never had it to fade it ruin anything! after I spray it on I let it sit and then take an old toothbrush and scrub it gently! it always works for me!!!

Peroxide works great if it hasn’t dried already. If it has dried, then use warm water and dawn dish detergent. You will need to scrub it some too.

ok, first and most important of all, do not, i repeat do not use hot water. it will set the blood. Instead make sure you use cold water and tide or oxyclean.

Note: Hot water will set blood stains if fresh.
* Fresh Stains -
1. First – Rinse as much of the blood out in cold water .
2. Then – wash as normal with general laundry liquid or powder in cold water.
** Set Stain – Blood oxidizes to Iron / yellowy stain:-
1. Treat with lemon juice & salt or vinegar let stand 1/2 hr then rinse twice. (do not wash with Alkali chemical before rinsing).
2. Then wash as normal with laundry powder or liquid and rinse.
Good luck!!
