She puts all the items in her mouth and drools quite a bit. I probably should have just used soap and water but felt bacteria from her mouth gets on the toys and should be cleaned. I am not a neat freak and only clean in once in a while. If overnight it dries and I of course wiped it down is this harmful for her??

I’ve read that sponges harbor bacteria/mildew, so I’m looking forward to using washcloths for now on. And, they’re green friendly.

I purchased a home with a granite kitchen countertop. It looks beautiful but I have no idea how to clean it. Some articles on the internet suggests warm soapy water, soapstone, windex(?) to calling a professional. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on how to properly clean and maintain the a granite countertop?

I used to work in a restaurant in Holland, and the chef often use ammonia to clean the kitchen. I can see that it is an instant solution, yet wonder if it is actually safe. I am not sure whether or not he also use it to clean the kitchen utensils and the pan. So, is it actually safe to use ammonia to clean the kitchen utensils and the pan? And if it is not, what would you do with the utensils that have been contaminated with ammonia – besides throwing it in a bin. Many thanks.
